Our Policy & Commitment

At Hilma Running, we are committed to accessibility, diversity, and inclusion. As part of that commitment, we are making efforts to ensure that Hilma Running’s digital properties are accessible to all individuals, regardless of ability. In doing so, Hilma Running has a goal to comply with applicable accessibility standards included in the W3C’s WCAG guidelines.

We are working to ensure our websites and online services are accessible for all and are committed to following the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and other applicable web accessibility laws.

To accomplish this, we have partnered with Level Access to leverage their digital accessibility platform and 25 years of experience to achieve and sustain conformance to accessibility standards.  Their digital accessibility platform is used to evaluate our digital properties in accordance with best practices and is supported by a diverse team of accessibility professionals, including users with disabilities.

Through this partnership, Hilma Running continues to develop our digital accessibility program and capabilities so that we are designing, developing, and testing our websites and online services for conformance to accessibility standards.

3rd-party Controlled Content

We recognize that some sections of our website include 3rd-party content,
tools, widgets or other functionalities. While we strive to ensure that the
content we directly control is fully accessible, we acknowledge that there
may be instances where 3rd-party content does not fully comply with our
accessibility standards. Thus, we are actively engaged in efforts to address
these challenges. Our approach includes:

  1. Regularly reviewing our site to identify any accessibility issues, including those related to 3rd-party content.
  2. Collaborating with our 3rd-party partners and vendors to encourage them to prioritize accessibility improvements and ensure their content meets ADA and WCAG 2.1 standards.
  3. Providing alternative ways to access the services or information offered by third-party tools when possible.
